So I've thought on it once or twice, but I can't surely determine whether it's a viable option at this point.  For a good while now I've seen a few fellow artists on DA start up a link with Patreon for one reason or another, and well, I've started thinking...

What could I have to offer in return for being paid for my occasional artworks or animations?  A supporter-based bonus for reaching a certain amount of funding?  A monthly raffle for a select supporter?

I mean I can't really promise I'll be super-competent in terms of getting rewards accomplished in time, nevermind the fact that I don't really know if I'll be following through with this idea in the first place... ^.^;;

So what would you think?

Well, from the experience I've seen in other artists creating Patreon's. Doing a raffle with Patreon is not a good thing to do, at least not to explicitly list/state on your reward tiers or description. Patreon staff have a strict policy against gambling of any sort which, spending money to be put in a raffle is sorta gambling ^^;

Beyond that, you could always set a Patreon up as a "tip jar" where you offer no rewards and just let whoever wants to support you, do so. These are just suggestions though.
